I have been a fan of Vanessa Paradis since early 2000 when I came across her "Mosquito" music video. The song and video was in French so besides "Mosquito", I hardly understood a word, but I thought the girl singing was adorable. She had the nineties model face and the gapped front teeth which was suddenly becoming a trend in the modeling industry.
Vanessa Paradis, although more popular as Johnny Depp's ex partner and mother to his children, is actually a household name in her native country of France. Besides being a model since her early teens (she's worked with the likes of Chanel and Miu Miu, among others), the talented Paradis is also an award winning actress and accomplished singer in France.
Paradis describes herself as "privileged bohemian" and is a self-professed sentimentalist when it comes to clothes. She includes Parisian label Antik Batik as her favorite hippie go-to brand.
